Bahamas Sewage
The Bahamas are Monarchy property and are being renovated with more suitable sewage systems for the number of tourists.
Prior to the current tourist boom, the sewage system was set up in a septic system. This system is unable to handle the number of people and is being renovated.
Please do not swim in ponds or pools marked gray water. This water is either run off or recycling sewage.
The area surrounding the Bahamas has a bit of bloom and tourists are given notice to shower after swimming in the waters. Signs will be posted with this notice on all beaches giving warning to shower after swimming to avoid accidental contamination from sewage leakage from old systems.
Once the sewage system is fixed, there will be a repopulation of fish for sports fishermen and for scuba divers.
The religion of the Bahamas is Roman Catholic, the legal system is Common Law recognising US law in the courts.
