The Ministry of Research and Development  "Q" is responsible for developing technologies to protect the Sovereign Empress Queen Ann, her family, her properties and her subjects.

The ministry is financed by the Treasury from taxation funds and any budget overages must be addressed by formal petition and explanation to the Sovereign Empress Queen Ann.

Q has their own offices whose office addresses are classified and not available for inspection except by internal affairs or the Sovereign Empress Queen Ann.  A new office space from real property in the possession of the Sovereign Empress Queen Ann shall be built for the specific purpose of research and development focusing on the safety and security of the Sovereign Empress Queen Ann of England and Spain, her family, her friends, her consorts and her subjects.

The work of "Q" is outside the Ministry of Home office or the Monarchy Intelligence Agency but the three may work together on projects that are approved.
