Neighbourhood Crime Watch and Road Barrier Protection | Updated January 29, 2025

 It came to my attention while living in Notting Hill that certain areas had barriers that offered more protection to residents by blocking streets and making dead ends or pedestrian zones.

It is declared and proclaimed that this form of safety assistance is now offered to all neighourhoods  in London and all of England  and will be managed by Home Office and the Ministry of Transportation.

For neighbourhoods declared City Neighourhoods the barriers will be integrated into the neighbourhood design.

Funding for Neighourhood safety is from infrastructure, road management and surveillance.
