The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Monarchies

The Ministry of Internal Affairs investigates abuses by employees of the Sovereign in each Sovereign nation with a monarchy.  Sovereign employees are currently estimated at eighty percent of the persons on the Island of Atlantis.

Subjects of the crown and fellow employees may submit through text, writing or through a representative, a complaint to the Ministry of Internal Affairs documenting an abuse of position by an employee.

Because of the sensitive nature of the work within internal affairs, all employees in this department are required to keep information confidential and their identities are masked.  All litigation and findings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are kept classified and may be litigated within the common law court system of the jurisdictional country involved.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is bound by strict rules of conduct and all investigators investigating on the island are from other commonwealth countries to avoid issues with past cult members and past aristocracy associations.

When investigations of sovereign employees begin, everything is documented and all employees, complainants and witnesses are interviewed and the information is kept in the classified royal database.

Any physical evidence is analysed and past behaviours of the employees in question may be reviewed.  Tapes, reports, audio files and surveillance feeds are all available for review.

When applicable, Home Office and MI-9 and the Monarchy Bureau of Investigation will work with the Ministry of Internal Affairs to prepare a case for trial.
