The Months of November and December - Memorials, Celebrations and Advent's Calendar Celebrations between November 5 and January 2

Subjects and Employees in the Monarchy and in the Commonwealth and the Months of November & December

All employees based in the Monarchy have six weeks of vacation each year.  This is based on the vacations currently available to employees in mainland Europe.

Because of WWII, all employees on the Island of Atlantis may have vacation from December 18 until January 6 and these dates are part of the six weeks of holiday. Other monarchies may follow the same time off schedule if their subjects agree.

This time at the end of the year is set aside to memorialise the exodus of prison guards at the end of WWII as agreed to by the Monarchies of England and Spain.

The official end of the war is declared by the Island to have started on November 5 with the burning of all documents having to do with the conflicts hidden from the subjects on the prison camp island.

Subjects of the Monarchy will symbolically burn paperwork from the year that is no longer needed in the bonfires set that day to mark the destruction of paperwork not taken by prison guards.

During the Month of November, the people of England shall celebrate the return of drinking water to the country and Philip's work returning nature to Island's countryside.  Each subject of England shall receive a gifts of English bottled water and English made items for their advents calendars. (For the first year, firestarters were gifted for the advent's calendars.)

On  November 11, the decision to end the war between England and Spain is celebrated by the winter balls and parties.  During this time between November 11 and December 1, the sovereign Empress will verify all Sovereign agreements made during the year and publish a book of agreements to be deposited in all libraries. A set of balls are set for each day between November 11 and December 1st documenting the 199 monarchies that fought the wars and the people remaining in the prison camps and their survival.

December 1 through December 31

The English have a symbolic ending of the year which is full of death focused on the death of all the people who were left behind on the island with nowhere to go.  These deaths are documented in the architecture of the country and by the tradesmen's routines and are now incorporated into the Advent's calendar of England.

The Sovereign Empress Queen Ann of England and Spain declares Christmas to be a Holiday that starts on the fifth of November with the burning of paper and the removal of everything that is not needed for the  Christmas season.  This is for all 199 incorporated monarchy locations.

From December 1st, for the 24 days of advent, the people of England, the commonwealth and the incorporated monarchies shall stockpile food gifted by the monarchy, a month's worth of food, and shall celebrate each day with at least one dinner cooked from stocked food as they wait for the trains to stop on January 2nd.  Each day will be focused on family and friends and organising for the next year.

Each day of the holiday season is a meeting of specific people and this will be clarified by the Sovereign Empress as the days are clarified by the people of England.  These days are goodbye days and the public shall use these day to say goodbye to the year and any issues they have with friends, colleagues or family.

Official celebrations will be arranged for each day and television programming will focus on the topics for those days.  No Weddings are allowed between December 1 and January 2.

St. Nicolas day on December 6th is declared the official day for presents for the Children of England and the March of Santa Claus on December 24th, declares the return of all men from battle with presents being shared by families from Santa Claus.

December 25, shall be the day celebrating the birth of all religious leaders and the birthdays of Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Mohammad and any other religious leader from history. Their birthdays, which are undocumented, are declared to happen on the 25th of December so all religions are celebrating together he birth of their prophets.  All gifts shared on this day are birthday gifts from Jesus or another prophet associated with a declared religion.

The 26th, boxing day, remains the same, a day to stay home with family eating leftovers from Christmas day.

December 31st is the day of bombings and marks the destruction of Munich and London. No Trains will run from December 31st to January 2nd of each year and the train stoppage on these days symbolises the end of the trains in England removing the prison guards and their homes.

January 2 is the English official end of WWII and is the war memorial day for England.  All conflicts will have their memorials held at the national cemetery and along the rivers of England with naval boat parades and a march of the people through London in memory of the 40 percent who died.  The Sovereign Empress inherited balloons stored in mainland Europe and balloons will be floated as memorial over the island in memorial to the strength of the prisoners on the island.

Employees are not required to take time off during the holiday season.  Employees from other areas of the commonwealth are available to cover during the time between December18th through the January 2nd.

The Sovereign Empress understand the importance of each day to the English during the time between November 5 to January 2nd and will add more information as it becomes available. There will be no disruption of train service until January 31.  Normal service begins on January 2nd and because of the memorials, there will be train service on December 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30.
